Rick Owens was born on 23.7.1961 in Porterville, California. After breaking off his studies at the Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, he took part in various courses at the Los Angeles Trade-Technical College. In 1994 Rick Owens then founded his own fashion label. In 2002 he presented his first own stage collection during the New York Fashion Week. In 2003 he is hired by the French fashion company Revillon Frères. Since then he lives in Paris. For the tenth anniversary of the season a large special collection is launched.
